Street cats, alley cats?

In Chichester recently I went to find a couple of cats that I knew were there

This one was rather splendidly colourful, the work of J P S and followed by some rats opposed to Priti Patel’s Nationality and Borders parliamentary bill (it’s Priti awful proclaims the rather indistinct stencil)

…and this one also by J P S was rather good, but someone has hacked off the end of his tail. It was a tiny little piece of street art, way smaller than I thought it would be, but brilliantly placed to look as if it’s setting off along a the railing:

  1. Great street art Sue. Glad you found them 🙂

  2. They are both rather wonderful. Glad to see you getting out and about Sue.

  3. What great pieces of street art, Sue. Wonderful finds.

  4. I’ve got tickets for “The Beauty Queen of Leenane” on the 18th of this month at Chichester Theatre so I shall make time to suss out these two cats. They are brilliant.

  5. Those rats look very much like Banksy rats (I happen to be at a Banksy exhibition last Friday). I do like the other cat though, balancing on the railing – a clever use of existing environs.

  6. Oh I like your alley cats 😀 😀

  7. Those are both great finds, Sue.

  8. Someone else posted that acrobatic cat recently, Now who the Dickens was it? I just can’t remember. But I liked it then and I like it now, so thanks.

  9. Well yours certainly are treating cats, Sue. 😅 Great photos.

  10. How wonderful seeing this art work. =^..^=
