Tree Square (21)

Tall conifers, smaller trees and a decaying roof….what’s not to love?

  1. Can’t think of the song? Little old cabin in the woods…a little old man by the window stood. Saw a rabbit running by, happy as can be! I know- I’m just as mad as ever! Sorry!

  2. Well I am glad it is not my roof!!

  3. A cool, refreshing scene.

  4. Now that’s what I call ‘living in the countryside’! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. I know the little cabin in the woods song. It’s a little different on this side of the pond.
I learned it in Girls Scouts. There where hand motions to it as well.

Little cabin in the wood, Little man by the window stood, Saw a rabbit hopping by
Knocking at the door, “Help me, help me, help me” he said
“Or the hunter will shoot me dead”, Little rabbit, come inside, Safely to abide

  6. Now I’ve got Jo’s little song in my head, complete with hand motions. What fun! Nice view. The only thing not nice about woods these days are lots of ticks. 😦

  7. Lovely picture, Sue. I’m linking this post to your comment in the Story Chat summary that will post on Tuesday.
