Can’t think of the song? Little old cabin in the woods…a little old man by the window stood. Saw a rabbit running by, happy as can be! I know- I’m just as mad as ever! Sorry!
Bonkers, Jo! 😄😄😂🥰
Mad as a box of crackers 🤣💙
Don’t forget the gun, planning to shoot him dead …. 😦
😧
😨💕
Well I am glad it is not my roof!!
Well, quite!
A cool, refreshing scene.
Nice bit of mountain air, and the scent of pines….
Now that’s what I call ‘living in the countryside’! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Out in the sticks, I say!

Ah,thanks!
I know the little cabin in the woods song. It’s a little different on this side of the pond.
I learned it in Girls Scouts. There where hand motions to it as well.
Little cabin in the wood, Little man by the window stood, Saw a rabbit hopping by
Knocking at the door, “Help me, help me, help me” he said
“Or the hunter will shoot me dead”, Little rabbit, come inside, Safely to abide

Thanks, Cee!
And how did you know that, Cee? Fabulous song to go with this picture!
Now I’ve got Jo’s little song in my head, complete with hand motions. What fun! Nice view. The only thing not nice about woods these days are lots of ticks. 😦
Lovely picture, Sue. I’m linking this post to your comment in the Story Chat summary that will post on Tuesday.
Thanks, Marsha!
Thank you for participating! Story Chat is only chatty if bloggers will stop to chat with each other. That’s what I love about it.
Well, exactly….likes alone say nothing, but sadly when I’m exhausted that’s all I do
I do that at times, too. We don’t have time to write major responses on every post. Some posts speak to us more than others, and we get caught up in it.
You have articulated this most effectively!
