Love the different hues.
I love a good dawn!
Rather you than me 😁
I don’t often get up at that time, but I did in Lucca, at Angles in the Vivienne, France and in the Gironde….probably a few others but those are the ones I recall because of photos taken!!
I might be tempted there as well …
That’s the spirit!
Ooh, nicely moody! You’ve been hiding these, Sue.
I was sure I had posted this one before, but perhaps not!
A great place to pop to on a Saturday morning
Pleased you agree!
ooh what a lovely sunrise
It was fab, I have fond memories of that morning
wonderful 😀 if only we had had a morning like this today. A real damp one here
Dismal here, too
😦 we have had snippets of blue through the day which has helped a little
I’ve been indoors not taking much notice!
we noticed because suddenly wondered why lights were on as it was bright in the house! Really were snippets though – very dark again here 😦
A few minutes ago, the sun appeared….too late, I’m not going anywhere
You were up very early for a great capture. I might have had to go back to bed after that. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
No, I had about an hour yomping around, back in the day when I could do that sort of thing…..the fourth image in this post was the scene a bit later and further on: https://suejudd.com/2013/11/24/eses-weekly-shoot-and-quote-challenge-direction/
Beautiful shot! I spent a happy birthday morning a few years ago walking the ramparts around Lucca 🙂
It’s a lovely spot, isn’t it!
There’s much to be said for photo archive travel. Lovely shot.
I’ve been having some lovely reminiscences lately!
Oh this is a beautiful this photo is. 😀
Thanks! Worth getting up early!!
Beautiful colours.
It was well worth getting up early for!!
Sorry you need cheering up but it worked out well for the rest of us too. That’s a beauty. I got a laugh out of “thramparts”, which I know was just a typo but a fun one. It’s like in the Star-Spangles Banner: O’er thramparts we watched…” Thanks for a good chuckle, even though inadvertent.
Oh, I didn’t notice….glad it gave you a chuckle!
