Paula has given us a few words to illustrate, so I have picked the followng:
Alpine….taken 4 decades ago from a chairlift in Switzerland:

Derelict..Main Street in the long abandoned town of Craco Vecchhia, Basilicata, Italy:

Enclosed – hedges enclosing lavender

Medieval – lovely old timbered houses in Quedlinburg, Germany:

Perfect choices for the words, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, I thought so, Pete….😄😄
You have found the right photos for Paula’s word Sue 🙂 🙂
And I have just thought of one for agitated, might post sometime….
Love all these photos, but the most intriguing one to me is the one with hedges. I marvel that anyone can design beds with these and maintain them. What a great response to this challenge.
Many thanks, Rusha! Yes, the hedges are box hedges, beautifully manicured!
Just loved all of these, Sue. Thanks for adding joy to my morning.
YiPpee! My pleasure!
Ooh, Craco Vecchhia looks like somewhere I would love to take photos! I’ve never heard of it so thanks for sharing 🙂
I read Carlo Levi’s Christ stopped at Eboli, and a film was made of it in the 1960s using Craco…..I just wish I had visited a couple of decades before! Here is a very quick tast e: https://suejudd.com/2018/04/03/c-takes-us-to-craco-vecchia/
