A couple of days ago, I went to see friends. The sun shone initially…then it rained. Quite a lot.

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Were you sitting in shelter when you took this, Sue? I really like it. And you had a day out! 🙂 🙂
No, bundled up in my jacket, hood up….
Good for you! 🙂 🙂
Oh, there’s always ways!
Yay you got there, but on no on the weather!
We arrived in sunshine and then at lunch the heavens opened. But I had a chatty day!
Glad it was dry for the morning explorations, and fabulous you had a chatty day 🙂
But I didn’t get the camera out in the morning, duh!
oh no!!! Too busy chatting and revelling in the freedom I guess
It was good to be somewhere different, and being with real people!!
Wonderful 😀 here’s to more visits in the coming weeks and months
Absolutely
Oh b*gger! Hope it was a good day anyway.
Had a lovely chatty day, shame about the weather
Well, you got a chat and a charming photo from the day! 😚
Well, yes!
I hate to say it….. but we needed the rain. That said we don’t have to like it
Oh, I know we need it….
Sounds (and looks) as if you made the best of it, Sue. Tipping down here since late last night!
Best wishes, Pete.
Same here, Pete
Pouring again. And the lake and river were very high when I did a walk yesterday evening. Had to make detour to avoid flooding.
But I love the shot, Sue. Really captures the day 🙂
Grrr to the weather, but we do need the rain…. pleased you like this, just wish I had taken some in the sun!
But oh, so good to get out and with friends! There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!
😄😄😄😂 Well, I had waterproof trousers, thick jacket with hood, gloves….so all OK
Perfect spring clothing 🤣
😊😊
Spring rain is beautiful! Trees look so green, wonderful.
Yes, happy trees
Yup, waterproof trousers and big winter coat required again here too. Glad you had a good day out despite the weather.
I did, thanks, Anabel
Sounds like it was a good day. I’d love a bit of rain here.
Yes, very arid where you are, I believe
We moved here a year ago in March and have had virtually no rain in that time! That’s unusually dry even for here.
Oh, bad news
True. Hopefully we’ll get more this year or at least the normal amount (which is about 9″!!)
Yikes, not much!
always nice to see friends – rain… that why it is so green over there 🙂
