A Day Out, and it rained

A couple of days ago, I went to see friends. The sun shone initially…then it rained. Quite a lot.

  1. Were you sitting in shelter when you took this, Sue? I really like it. And you had a day out! 🙂 🙂

  2. Yay you got there, but on no on the weather!

  3. Oh b*gger! Hope it was a good day anyway.

  4. Well, you got a chat and a charming photo from the day! 😚

  5. I hate to say it….. but we needed the rain. That said we don’t have to like it

  6. Sounds (and looks) as if you made the best of it, Sue. Tipping down here since late last night!
    Best wishes, Pete.

  7. Pouring again. And the lake and river were very high when I did a walk yesterday evening. Had to make detour to avoid flooding.
But I love the shot, Sue. Really captures the day 🙂

  8. But oh, so good to get out and with friends! There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!

  9. Amy

Spring rain is beautiful! Trees look so green, wonderful.

  10. Yup, waterproof trousers and big winter coat required again here too. Glad you had a good day out despite the weather.

  11. Sounds like it was a good day. I’d love a bit of rain here.

  12. always nice to see friends – rain… that why it is so green over there 🙂
