Using ICM to create Impressionist images

Well, not really, but I had fun:

Linked to Six Word Saturday at Debbie’s here

  1. ICM? Talking technical is well above my pay-grade, but I love the image!

    • Sue

I love to hear of you and your pay-grade! Intentional Camera Movement, so whilst it might look like an accident it was intentional…. pleased you like it 😊

  2. Fun is the main thing! Especially at our age 🙂 🙂

  3. A good way to disguise the flowers decay Sue. I see that cheeky Jo is at it again 😀 😀

  4. It works for me. I seem to think that you’re using an Olympus. Do you turn the image stabilization off so the camera isn’t trying to correct for the movement?

  5. Best not to look up ICM, or you get this as the main option.

I can just still make out it is flowers, so it worked. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. I like it Sue. It’s very dark and atmospheric. Perhaps more gothic than impressionist.

  7. Definitely fun. Every time I see an image made this way I think I should try it but of course I never remember when I’m actually shooting.
