Monday Washing Lines (Portugal 4)

Off to Portugal again, and would you REALLY want to hang your washing out above a busy road, AND next to the outputs from an aircon unit??

  1. That will come back in as dirty as before it was washed. 🙂
This theme seems to have run forever. It continues to amaze me!
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. The diesel fumes will surely overcome the smell of the fabric conditioner.

  3. Kind of strange especially as I can see the beautiful ocean with a sea breeze. Maybe no other way and not so lucky as some

  4. Actually Not nice to hang our cloths outside like other people to see 🌷😊my comment 🙏

  5. These images always make me smile – but the fumes of a busy road seem likely.

  6. Needs must I suppose. But it enlivens the street, and provides Andrew with Material for Criticism.

  7. Material for Criticism – brilliant! Margaret is on form today.
As for the washing I suppose needs must and all that. Maybe not enough room in the flat to dry it inside.

  8. Not the best place to hang out clothes! Nice shot SUe.

  9. I wonder if they ever lose any? Whisked away on the roof of a car.

  10. …if it the only option? Who knows.

  11. I think you can see the dust on the walls so I guess it is back to the clothes. But you have to do what you gotta do I suppose.

  12. Sometimes there’s just no option. And it gave a great photo.
