A very modest wash-day here!
Indeed!
Not every day is a full washing day!
Well, quite!
Only two items – but what items!!
Next to the distressed walls, they look good, don’t they!
Oh, yes! 😀
Good!
That’s a lovely shot, Sue 🤗💕
I loved the distressed walls and the contrasting clean, fresh washing!
They couldn’t have washed much more than that as they had so little space to hang it to dry. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Indeed!
That is a really good picture Sue.
Thanks, Andrew!
Excellent! Even distressed Portugal scarves or banners to go with it. Very Alfama, and very Sue!
Yes to both!
And an ingenious way to hang up the slippers/shoes!
Indeed! Resourceful, I say
I’ve often wondered if the scent of their laundry is of fresh wind/sun or the unique scents of their neighborhood.
Good question!
I like this a lot, Sue. The simple colors mostly in the middle and everything else just slightly faded has a feel of simplicity to me. Not sure I’m really describing how it makes me feel, but I like it. 🙂
Thanks, Janet…yes,, gentle colours
Love this one and all of your others. I like the idea of posting the laundry on Monday, for isn’t that what we all do!
Thank you, Rusha!
