Spring is definitely springing around here, and a recent image I took on a little wander around the local park was the catkins that featured yesterday. Today I show you a willow tree with new leaves, all shimmery in the sun and gentle breeze:

Thanks, Sheree!
No willows around here so yours are doubly welcome.
Pleased to be useful!
Not many willows around Beetley, so it’s great to see a good one.
Best wishes, Pete.

Weeping willows are very special trees, my much smaller Kilmarnock willow is just sprouting the ‘fuzzy nubs’ as is one of my Goat willow trees. Soon the fresh green leaves will appear.
Lovely!
I do love willows, Sue. Lovely.
Yay! Thanks, Janet
