Back to urban, here’s a line strung under some interesting shutters seen in Lucca, Tuscany – I like the small shutters:

Very colourful
Yes, they were!
Oh, aren’t they nice, the little shutters? 🙂 🙂 I have lots of washing, Sue, but it’s mostly a bit dreary.
Cute little shutters
P.S Your link to Andrew’s doesn’t work? I was just going to hop over there. 🙂
Thanks, Jo…should work now
Nice shadows too. Another of my favourite subjects.
Yippee! I’m all for a good shadow or three, provided they are the right kind….
There must be a lot more photos of washing lines than I ever realised. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
You would be amazed!
Love the shutters but I love Lucca more – it’s one of my favourite places in Italy. I will go back any time.
You and me both!
Very cute shutters – more the size of a cat flap. And I like those shadows – a great replica of the washing
Whoopee…two votes for the shadows!
Different Thought .. Good pic
Thanks!
Shadows make it and of course the colours…… I am of the age when Monday was THE Washing Day. Drying lines draped with a household’s weekly wash. If the weather wasn’t good, mum would moan all day and the house full of clothes, etc drying on racks, in the winter windows steaming up. Now wash day seem to be any old day…sometimes every day. Not sure we would cope with those ‘good old days’ 🙂
We wouldn’t!
I like the shutter and with everything in the background white, it looks as if the entire scene is floating. What fun!
Yay!
Mini shutters and mini washing too!
Yes!
Cute little shutters and love the shadows! I’d love to get to Lucca one day.
It’s a lovely place
That’s great. I like the bleached out background.
Thanks, Margaret!
Like Debbie i am loving the shadows
Yay!
