Another rescue image, from a courtyard in old Havana. This image was taken in 2005 with a ropey little camera, on a very bright sunny day…seriously harsh shadows. But as software improves, we can rescue more.
Not perfect, but you can just see the smile!

Nice
Thanks!
But did you buy her artwork? 🙂 🙂
Now you know he answer to that
From the comments, I see it’s for sale. Any takers?
Let’s hope she sold it! That was over a dozen years ago!
Very typical. Good rescue.
Thanks, Mari!
Marvellous
Thanks, Becky¡
Was that painted or in some other medium? Be a tad hard to get in your suitcase! Cady
As I recall, it was textile, and impossible to get in a suitcase!!
Dramatic artwork, but hardly suitable for tourist sales at that size. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, quite!
Maybe she offered shipping? A lot of Americans seem to ship souvenirs home from around the world.
Not from Cuba back then, I’m sure
Oh what fancy artwork. Wonderful photo for this week. 😀
Thanks, Cee!
Thanks for taking me back to Havana … what a vibrant place with kind people.
It most certainly is, Frank
She’s very proud of it!
I think she was!
A wonderful rescue, Sue! Is that a carpet being cleaned?
No,no she was sweeping the pavement, but stoppe to show me her artwork
Ah! Got it! It looks like a lush and textured piece of art.
Yep!
