Delighting in Our World
I think you really have squeezed every ounce of value from them, Sue!
I rather think I have!!
I’m chuckling. They must be whiffy by now 🙂 🙂
Nope, they haven’t had any water for 4 days, hence no whiff
🤣💕
You did well with that bunch, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
I did, didn’t I!
ooh yes the bin is beginning to call them isn’t it, hopefully they will be happy in there!
Oh, they went 2 hours ago!
hope you photographed them going in!!
Nah!
Oh dear, guess they are off to the bin. They lasted you a while though 😀
Overs 3 weeks!
It’s hard saying Haere rā (goodbye) to flowers in a vase 😊
Indeed…but the time comes
Can you remember what you did for their longevity?
Well, kept them watered until 4 days before the end, so they sidnt get stinky, and removed some of the blooms earlier as they were getting past it….
Oh, the light on that one mum is exquisite!!
Mum? It’s a chrysanthemum
🙂 We call them mums over here for short. I forgot that mum is Mum, or Ma’am, or Mom….
OK!
Surely they’re not bin-ready yet!! They haven’t reached that abundance-of-decay point.
Different blooms behave differently, and besides, they needed to get to the bin as I have nap new bunch coming on Monday 😄
