The fading moments of my last bunch of flowers….these have really given from beginning to end. I threw out the snapdragons and the lisianthus as they were just getting a bit whiffy, and these chrysanthemums are now without water, just to keep the room from starting to stink!

You’ve certainly made the best of fading flowers Sue. Though I’m not sure chrysanths die stylishly – you’ve just got to them in time.
Past experience has told me they don’t die stylishly, but these have bucked the trend a little!
I like this a lot, and that’s funny about draining out the water so it won’t stink. I have to remember that, duh!! 😉
