To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
I have found it interesting this month to see all the different browns people have in their collections. It is a colour we mainly ignore, but when we really think about it it is a colour which actually dominates our lives. Thanks for your wonderful collection Sue.
Pleased you like these….I was amazed at how much I found!
I love color but never dreamed I would find so much brown and in so many places:

Thank you for offering this up. It’s been a delight getting out of current events and changing focus to something much more inspiring. This was my first ever attempt at a blogger’s challenge and found it so much FUN I thought I’d offer one of my own since I can hardly wait for you to announce the next color. 🙂
Excellent!!
Thank you, I think you posted this on Sue’s post rather than mine (Jude) but luckily I found it. I am glad that the challenge has helped you this month, goodness knows we all need something to cheer us up after a year of unexpected events. I hope you will join me in the next month’s colour theme, beginning on Sunday.
😊
🙂 Glad you found it too. Being a self-proclaimed neo-Luddite, sometimes my head is spinning in the Tech world.
Oh dear!
Oh Sue, I really like your browns for this week. I can’t even begin to pick a favorite. 😀 😀
Thanks, Cee!
A few…..there’s so many wonderful images Sue 🙂
Many thanks, Brian!
Such variety Sue, loved the rusty old car
Thanks, Pauline…at an old car graveyard in Turkey
That would be an artists heaven
Photographers heaven too…but not as good as the car graveyard in the woods in Sweden
And here’s a taste: https://suejudd.com/2017/07/16/black-white-sunday-after-and-before-3/
I think we can all agree that your excellent and varied images have put paid to ‘brown is boring’ once and for all.
Thanks, Agnes!!
Some wonderful browns, Sue. I think the charm of brown has been a surprise for many of us
Depends on the shade, I guess…and the lighting?
Love these photos with fabulous browns.
Thanks!
Ooh, you’ve put a lot of goodies together here, Sue! I like the look of that very first one. I think that poor car is crying 🙂 🙂
Thanks, Jo….that first one was at Oybin monastery in Eastern Germany, not too far from the Polish border
Well remembered, Sue! I like it 🙂 🙂
I remember it, because I used to say oi (for I) been to Oybin
🙂 🙂
It mostly looks very rustic to me, and definitely very attractive! 🙂
Thanks, Lynn!
