Oh, just a bit! Mud free sorties are becoming difficult, non?
Bien sûr!
Mud, Mud, glorious mud . . . .
….nothing quite like it for cooling the blood…
knew you would know the next line!
….so follow me, follow, down to the hollow….
The slip and slide of daily walks brings another word to mind. M*rd*!
The one advantage is that I come back about 2 inches taller, but with boots in much need of care and attention.
Taller, Debbie?
I am in two minds about going out in the woods today, first the snow (now melted) , then the rain — I don’t like to walk in wellies.
Stay in the warm!
Alternatively, I could get some warm mittens … 🙂
, well, you could!
Wellies are awful to walk in. I use mine on the muddy trails, but then my shins ache for days afterwards. They are definitely not kind to the feet / legs.
They are most certainly not!
Quite. And today I’m too lazy to go in walking boots and cleaning them afterwards … 😔
😊
Mud cleaning boots is yuck! And your hands get really cold too. Need an outdoor sink really.
I agree
Mud. That’s something I know a lot about, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
😳
Definitely I do not like mud. I am always fearful of slipping and breaking a leg or something (having done this a few years back and broken an ankle when I lived in my former house that was only accessible via six steps. So, I avoid it where I can. Looks a tempting place to walk though.
It’s ony a small area, but I need to avoid mud
We stick to the lanes now, until that mud gets dried out. But with all the farm traffic even the lanes are muddy plus the horses leave their mark…
Indeed!
I like mud to play in, but not necessarily take a hike in 😀
😄😄
Sorry I missed the call this morning. It’s been a hard couple of days.
Not to worry!
same situation over here :-), calls for Wellies, but I agree, they are not kind to the legs.
🙁🙁
Muddy here as well…rain rainrain…
Oh dear….speak this evening
Yes
😊
Rather….
😊
Can’t avoid them at the moment, its just been so wet. The major issue is that many of our paths are just getting wider and wider as people try to avoid getting their boots muddy. At least this morning here the mud had frozen !
