Early this morning, another sunny day, with deep, almost cloudless blue sky…even better than yesterday, fantastic. And I even saw some little birds in the trees, briefly, but when I got the camera, only these two fat pigeons remained:

My husband detests pigeons, calls them “dirty birds.” Here we have mourning doves, much to be preferred. 🙂

We have the collared doves – usually visiting in pairs, though last year I counted 7 at the same time. They are pretty birds unlike the feral pigeons. Perhaps yours are wood pigeons?
