Loosely, skyline can mean field of view or vista. Having a think about what image I might use to illustrate this, I came up with this, a view of the distant Pyrenees from near the Cathar castle of Quéribus

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
stunningly beautiful – wouldn’t it be wonderful to be waking up to this this morning
It most certainly would!
That is glorious! Two fab offerings from you today 🙂 🙂
Cheers, Jo!
Love this photo Sue 🙂
Thanks, Brian…it was glorious scenery, I can cast my mind back
What Becky said!
Completely agree!!
Those Cathar castles were so well sited. That’s a lovely part of Europe.
Best wishes, Pete.
It most certainly is. And as well as castles, there are abbeys, and circulates (fortified villages)
I think that just about captures everything about a landscape in one picture!
Almost…the castle isn’t in shot!
Oh to be able to travel again!
Hmmmm
I think this image could stand for a lot of things, skyline, landscape, mountains, colour, etc. It’s a brilliant image and makes me think back to travelling in those areas. Was it only a year ago? In my case 15 months ago.
This image was taken 10 years ago, and its 15 months since I last travelled, to Seville
Oh Sue, you can see forever in your photo. So very beautiful 😀
It was a stunning region, Cee!
No kidding. 😀
😊
sky and mountains are inosculating.
Yes, I think you could say that, Klara!
What a fantastic view! Just where a castle should be. 🙂

Indeed!
Beauty!
Thanks!
