Great finds Sue 🙂
Thanks, Brian…a few years back, these
Such diversity. Love the leaves and roots. Where’s the beach? I want to investigate those cliffs.
The beach is at Sidmouth, Devon, on the Jurassic Coast….you would love it, Meg!
Yes brown is everywhere once you start looking. Love the beach and cliff scene with the tiny people under the umbrella
I wrote a poem about that!
Is that poem somewhere on your blog?
Yep, here it is! https://suejudd.com/poems/on-the-beach/
Lovely browns, Sue. I love that terracotta-looking stonework.
Best wishes, Pete.
It’s at the Watts Gallery in Compton, south of Guildford
I never went into the gallery, but the chapel there is absolutely fascinating. Maybe the next time I get down to Surrey I will have a look in the gallery.
The chapel is the main thing, but there is some interesting stuff in the gallery, Jude
Every shade, Sue! And coming late, I get to read the answers to my kwestions in the comments 🙂 🙂
Always a bonus!
Yay a birdie!
Indeed..”a buzzardie thing, perhaps?
Looks like a kestrel to me
Ah, thanks! I thought you would know…seen in Lanzarote some years ago
A nice eclectic mix.
Thanks, Margaret
I thought that was coastal Devon. Recognised that reddy brown colour. It used to feature on my daughter’s shoes, boots, trousers etc when we lived in Devon. Nice collection.
Thanks, Agnes! Yes, the beach was Devon, but the others are mostly Surrey
Your browns are marvelous Sue. I really like your brown beach photo 😀
Thanks, Cee!
Late to the party! But as Jo said this gives me a chance to read the comments. I did look at the photos on my phone, but only just got back on the computer and the phone is poor for commenting, plus I wanted a closer look at these eclectic photos. I love the terracotta work and that staircase. Thanks for digging these out Sue.
You are most welcome!
The beach photo is soooo beautiful. I’d love to go there.
Ah yes, Sidmouth in Devon
