Well, couldn’t find any appropriate images, so here’s my little Christmas pud drowned under rum sauce! No marks for presentation! The end of a meal, wine glass empty, but that little pud was good!

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
I didn’t have any 🙄💕
Really?
We always thought we’d be back in the UK so I didn’t go looking, and by the time we realised we’d be here, the English shop had sold out 😦
Ah, Ok 🙁 How was you.r Crowket today??
Sad but funny, Sue. It was a good send off for him 🙂 🙂
Well, that’s a result
awww this is lovely, sounds like you had a delicious day. Looking forward to catching up later
Yes, roll on 3pm!
That does look like a good pud, and nothing wrong with drowning it in rum sauce, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Best Jamaican rum!!
Looks good to me, Sue.
janet
😊😊
Looks yummy! 😀
It was, Cee…didn’t take long to eat!
Do you make that or does it come ready made? I have never had any and just wondered.
My mother used to make our Christmas puds, an a lot of the older generations used to, but many people now, me include d, but them ready made, as they are time consuming to make!
I have never seen them in the store. Of course I have never looked!
Well, is it just a British thing??
That’s my guess.
Yes
That’s the perfect size for a Christmas pud Sue. I hope it was delicious
It was actually very tasty., Su, and I have two more! To eat on miserable winter days
Looks delicious!
Thanks!
Love the image – perfect ending to a meal …. it looks like how I eat my puddings too: drowned in sauce!!! I think I’ve admired this table cloth of yours previously in another table setting – so lovely to see it again.
Thanks! That tablecloth was embroidered by a great aunt many years ago
Looks so yummy, Sue. Hubby ordered a Christmas pud from Amazon and it wasn’t great……….much too sweet. 😦
Food from Amazon???
It was a ‘Matthew Walker’ imported from the UK, so we thought it should be nice, but it wasn’t. 😦
Sorry to hear that….
Our friends loved it, but they have sweet teeth and never had Christmas pud before. 😅
Well, it can be pretty sweet.”I like it, but in small portions!
You have made my mouth water!
Good, that was the plan!
👍👍
Thanks
