Su at zimmerbitch.Wordpress.com has invited me to join her and other bloggers to post one favourite travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate. I know how busy many of you are, so I am always a bit nervous about nominating people.
There is no pressure to participate Today I am finally realising I need to keep things simple, and as a number of bloggers I know are already busy with the challenge I am going to resort to inviting “anyone who feels like joining in”!

That Saxon fortified church is one of the reasons I went to Romania, after reading Elizabeth Luard’s account of her travels in the region. It was in a fairly remote village accessible only by an unmade road….
