Countdown to 2021 (9)

It’s 8am and still looks almost like night….I hate these short days. The house across the way has bright lights on, the only sign of life

  1. Yes! Like Margaret I’m often up early and I never want to put the lights on in the morning, but often there’s no choice. 😦 Do you have Christmas decorations at yours, Sue, or just nice flowers? 🙂 🙂

  2. Such warm and welcoming light in the windows, it is hard to find the Xmas spirit as you get older.

  3. Not long until the shortest day. Imagine living in Norway. and having 6 months of it!
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. That was a dull start to the day, Sue. But great for a photo.

  5. Wonderful nighttime glow 😀

  6. That’s how we look here at about 5 pm. Last week I posted about sunset at 4:25. : )

  7. You me… both…. Just hate these short days, worse in weeks like this last one which has been damp and dark all day. Mind you, for a time we lived in the north of Scotland…… and daylight hours were always so much shorter. (the summer days longer of course, so I guess that balanced things out) 🙂
