To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Gloom indeed. We have had dark skies and constant rain here, since I woke up. November can be a dismal month at times.
Best wishes, Pete.
I’m afraid it can…I’m not a fan of Nov- April
Neither am I. For opposite reasons, and the main one starts with “f”
?????
Try fire!
Oh, but of course…sorry to be so dim
Same here, but you have a nicer view – or is this on a walk? Either way, it’s a nice one!
No, this is from my study window
I think fog is such an inspirational thing to photograph, wow you still have green in the leaves, well you have leaves
Well, not too many now, Ritva!
You still have leaves on your trees. I love a good foggy day. Wonderful photo Sue 😀
Thanks, Cee! Not many leaves on trees now…
I love fog, although I won’t see much if any of it here, as you need moisture to create fog and chilly ground/sky. I’ll enjoy yours. Thanks. 🙂
janet
Oh, you can have mine, Janet!!
🙂
We had that yesterday. Well, I think it was yesterday. The days all meld into one.
Know what you mean, Anabel….
It would be worse without the leaves! 🙂 🙂
Hahahaha
Just beautiful. Leaves and branches so beautifully disposed.
Well, they placed themselves nicely!
Well November had some bright spots…. but mainly rather gloomy
Yes, there were a few bright spots….
We had that same look yesterday. In the Pacific Northwest where I spent 50 years, it usually looked like this for months at a time. The paintings from there reflect that with a pretty muddy palette and few bright colors.
Oh dear
I don’t miss it. Here there is much more clearing in the winter.
Good to hear!
has been thick some days hasn’t it . . .still yesterday was lovely, and this morning there was a good sunrise
Yesterday lovely here, and this morning sunrise OK, but grey now
Yup grey here too, and seems to be getting darker and darker 😐
Yep
