What I saw from my transport (1)

I didn’t have a camera with me when I went for an appointment, but had my iPad, not a very effective means of taking photographs for me! But I liked the look of this old sign (Peterkin, who was he?), not very well captured, and the idea of a ‘story coffee’

Further along the journey, I saw this and liked the blackboard:

Linked to Debbie’s quote inspired post here

  1. Sue-nice take on the theme – and glad you had the iPad to capture the essence and overall feel of the sign and shops on your transport
the “story coffee” really is a good name and a lot of nice details here to explore 🙂

PS this post inspired me to join in to the challenge

  2. I really liked the top photo. As a kid my grandfather read to us from “The Peterkin Papers,” a very funny book. Glad for the chance to remember that from seeing the sign on the bricks.

  3. I liked these Sue. Old signs captured. I regret some that I didn’t take at the time and now have gone

  4. Your ipad took some great photos 😀

  5. Glad you had the iPad, Sue. Not something I’ve ever used to take a photo, but they’re good for displaying them on. You’ve done well using an unwieldy instrument, and looks a good area to wander around on foot

  6. Peterkin? A relation of Skwirrel Nutkin? 🙂 🙂

  7. how fabulous you did have a means of capturing what you saw – of course if you had an iphone!!!!!
