Surrey is full of construction projects

And this only a local view, these 3 were only some I saw

Linked to 6 word Saturday at Debbie’s here

  1. Apparently the big home improvement stores / hardware stores in Germany all report increased sales since March. People are stuck at home and start bigger (and smaller) projects around the house. 🙂

  2. And not minor projects!
It’s like that around here too. I live on what used to be a street of bungalows, but many of them are growing taller.

  3. My next door neighbour is currently having a large extension built on the back. Fortunately, it is a bunglaow, so
the building is no higher than the fence.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. I was going to say money to burn in the Home Counties, but a lot of those houses are quite old and probably need a lot of maintenance! And extensions to house the kids who can’t afford to leave home any more… 😂

  5. Good to see. It’s good for the economy.

  6. Surrey isn’t alone! 🙂 🙂

  7. what is it with the constant extending and rebuilding – first thing people do when they move in on our road is enlarge the houses, and they are already a good size. Too much of keeping up with the Joneses me thinnks
