What a difference a day makes

Went for a wander with my friend Mo yesterday, and it was a marvellous day. Crisp, sunny and wonderful autumn colours….

and here is a very different scene from my kitchen window this morning…..all misty and muted colours:

Very Bonfire night, November is here.

  1. love them both, Sue – glad you had a glorious ouring! I must say your kitchen window outlook is beautiful in the mist!

  2. Yep! We had a huge electrical storm here last night. Put all the lights out and had us searching for candles 🙂 🙂

  3. Yesterday was indeed a real ‘October Day’. I had a nice walk with Ollie in the sunshine.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. (I know it was November, but it felt like October should have felt. 🙂 )

  5. Both beautiful, Sue. And the top one really gives a feeling of escape – one to look at each morning for the next 4 weeks!

  6. Our autumn has been short too, because of wind. You demonstrated mother nature well. 😀

  7. The second photo is very familiar here, though today we had a glorious day. Sun and no wind!

  8. We had a very long summer and finally a cold snap in late October – overnight the trees turned red and yellow – no fog though – I envy you your fog!
