I love it when the light works to create a slightly dramatic image….this was one such for me. The late afternoon sun at Polseden – the contrast between foreground and background, the light on the leaves…bliss!

Linked to October Squares at Becky’s here
The contrast in light is really lovely – great picture!
Many thanks, Meg!
ooh yes, I like this too. It’s more of a painting than a photograph. Kinda perfect finish 😀
Many thanks, Becky! This will have to get me through the winter….I’ll have to get a print
ooh yes you should 😀
Off to Printspace then
Yes, the lighting effect here works very well. Nice capture.
Many thanks, Mari!
That’s excellent, Sue. And it would have worked just as well without the couple in it, though they add nice perspective and scale.
Best wishes, Pete.
Many thanks, Pete….but I have to disagree about it working without peopl….
Works well. Very much like an old painting.
Yes, I thought so! Thanks, Jude
Oh Sue, I so adore this photo. Perfection 😀

Many thanks, Jane….it will be one of my favourites
Truly lovely, Sue.

Many thanks, Janet….this will be one of my favourite images of all time!!
Autumn in one……. people or no people it would have worked just as well, it is the light that makes it. 🙂
It is the light that makes it, but looking at my image with and without people, the people shot had the dredge, David!
I love this one, Sue! Don’t know how I missed it. Must have been slaving away over a hot laptop 🙂 🙂
Well, how could you have missed such a marvellous image, Jo??
Good kwestion, Sue, but I had a good long look today 🙂 🙂
