Autumn Journal, part 1

Sorry to disappoint, but it isn’t a journal, per se, just a collection of seasonal images…

  1. Well the slideshow worked, and I enjoyed the idea. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Very slow to load on my laptop! And it doesn’t automatically scroll through the images, but I don’t know if it is supposed to. Is this using the block editor? The tree with the cyclamen underneath is rather lovely.

  3. The initial image of the one leaf standing out from the others reminded me of the thrill my grandchildren got when they were little over each leaf. They weren’t interested in the whole tree, just the particular leaf in front of them.

  4. I’m not disappointed 🙂 🙂

  5. I like the shot looking up on the bank and there are peachy leaves glowing.

  6. Worked a treat Sue. I loved the look back idea 🙂

  7. Worked fine. I didn’t find it slow. and you can set it to automatically move on if you’d prefer that. You’ll see it as an option to the right of the block. If many find it slow then it’s worth checking the size of your images. I keep mine small: 800x600px which are about 500Kb in size, if that helps

  8. One of the beauties of photography, IMHO, is seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. It’s interesting to see what sticks out to other people, what draws your eye, and the seasons are no exception. It’s like asking each other, what does this season mean to you? I like your expression of fall. My favorite in this slideshow is the last one, but I like seeing what you see in all of them. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Thanks, eLPy! My personal favourite is the first image in the middle row-I agree it’s always interesting to see how other people see the world

  9. Glad you woke me up yesterday, Sue – and this is a treat!
