I feel the silence but I don’t think it’s a place I’d chose in which to wander alone. I do wish I didn’t have so many fears like this but I think it’s part of the constant fear-mongering in the press. I used to be quite an intrepid walker, go anyplace type of person but lately I’m much more circumspect.
