I shall have to grow some of the darker lavender next year. Mine is the pale one which is lovely en masse in the garden but unless I go mad in Photoshop it pales in comparison to yours. I also have a white lavender which seems to attract a lot of butterflies – or are they just more obvious on white?
Don’t ask me, I’m no expert!!
I saw a large clump of lavender yesterday festooned with bumblebees. Happily I did at last see some honey bees elsewhere, though they were very small.
Yes, some of the clumps here wer festooned, but I moved to a quieter section to get my image!
