To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
I could relax in a house like that. As long as someone else was cutting the grass.
Best wishes, Pete.
This is RHS Wisley, they’ll have plenty of gardeners to cut the grass!!
Beautiful! I assume you had a great day, Sue.
I had a lovely afternoon with my friend Sal, and it was great to see Wisley again, and goodness me, the changes they have been making
A garden I really miss since moving away from the SE. Couldn’t get a slot when I was down there in June. I used to visit at least once a month when we lived there. Such wonderful gardens, though they can get extremely busy now. I assume good Covid rules are in place at the moment.
Good COVID rules, you have to book in advance, not too busy
It’s over a year since I last visited Wisley and it would be nice to think I could visit soon again. It’s a restful spot but it leaves me envious!
Well, it was my first trip out for nearly 6 months!
Lovely to see a snippet of Wisley. We visited earlier this year when the houseplant takeover was on, and looking back, it was pretty much my last major excursion before lockdown. How much has changed in life too! I could hardly believe it was this year when I asked myself when it had been.
Thanks, Susan!
Just lovely …. England is great on this, Beautiful Tudor building. Great on history … and greatness.
Thank you!!
So glad you had a great day out, Sue.
I did!
Beautiful. I would so like to actually go somewhere, but am happy to at least see places I might some day get to visit. What are those little signs?
Oh, they are telling us the varieties of plants, in this case the water lilies
Thanks. I thought maybe there were mosaics on the bottom of the pool.
No, no
Beautiful house and grounds. 😍

You really have your head above the parapet! My venture out was brief. But this photo gives me lockdown delight.
Oh, great, Meg! Hope you’re doing OK …I gather all is not well around Melbourne
