Perspectives (23) – A Medieval street Perspective

Cobbled street and unrestored medieval buildings in Quedlinburg, eastern Germany, a year or three after the fall of the Wall:

Wish I had taken more images, but that was the days of film, and as I recall it was getting late in the day, light was low and we were hungry…and still quite a way from our destination….

  1. In many ways film caused us not yo take so many photos we’d have loved to have had. But the ones we do have tend to be more thoughtfully taken. This one’s lovely. Very atmospheric.

  2. I like stepping back in time with you 🙂 🙂

  3. It would be interesting to see this street now.

This is like three times in one, Sue. Now, looking at the picture; then, the cars; and back then, the buildings! Love it!

  5. I am surprised that street survived WW2, but glad it did.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. loved the recent shots of this wonderful town too!!
