Apologies for the abominable quality of the image………
On a wander the other day, I saw two little goldfinches, but they were a long way away and I only had a 45mm crop sensor lens, so have ‘blown’ this image up….very poor, but it serves as a reminder to me that I saw such birds, which I almost never do now:
Sometimes, a souvenir is as good as it gets – but still worth having.
Thanks, Margaret!!
Happy Saturday, Sue! 🙂 🙂
And Happy Saturday to you, Jo!
Not seen any of those here either, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
😕
I have charms of goldfinches visiting the feeders every day, they are noisy little birds and quite quarrelsome too, but our prettiest birds! You on the other hand are more likely to see the parakeets!
Sadly, true! But mostly magpies and crows
Lots of them here too. And seagulls and collared doves! Fortunately the seagulls and crows stay out of the garden.
Thank goodness no seagulls in the garden!
But plenty of poo on the car and windows 😦
Hopefully they’ll return to the coast when the restaurants open again!
Oh, rats
Such lovely birds aren’t they. Visiting here daily at the moment 🙂
Lucky you!
Little treats on our walks. I saw a bullfinch the other night but just couldn’t get close enough. He teased me by hopping along the fence in front of me – away from me!
These were skitting about!
