What I Saw (38) – Two little Goldfinches

Apologies for the abominable quality of the image………

On a wander the other day, I saw two little goldfinches, but they were a long way away and I only had a 45mm crop sensor lens, so have ‘blown’ this image up….very poor, but it serves as a reminder to me that I saw such birds, which I almost never do now:

  4. I have charms of goldfinches visiting the feeders every day, they are noisy little birds and quite quarrelsome too, but our prettiest birds! You on the other hand are more likely to see the parakeets!

  5. Such lovely birds aren’t they. Visiting here daily at the moment 🙂

  6. Little treats on our walks. I saw a bullfinch the other night but just couldn’t get close enough. He teased me by hopping along the fence in front of me – away from me!
