When I binned my flowers a week ago, I kept two of the Agapanthus, which were still good, and this morning I thought they were just right for an image, one still not too droopy, the other less good….but I got a lovely minimalist image, see for yourselves:
and a little closer
They age well!
These certainly did!
The close up is perfect. Your white background photos always remind me of the lovely botanical illustrations in very old books.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thank you, Pete! Much appreciated
Beautiful images, Sue.
Thank you, Jane!
Love the title of your post. I like too that in this moment, the flowers are still beautiful.
Many thanks, Colline!
These are great Sue. I think Pete has it right — they do look like illustrations.
Many thanks, Su…I have had that said with previous floral images
The white background does help to create that botanical art feel. I must do some more like these. My aggies aren’t anywhere near open though so it will be a while before I can try this with them.
Yes, I love negative space!
You should be selling all of these as images for cushion covers. They’d be snapped up
Haha!
Fabulous!
Thanks, Ana!
