Can’t quite see, are the flowers in the middle marsh marigolds? Here in Wales they’ve pretty much gone over.
No idea, I’m a numpty about plants!
If they were smallish, like a largish buttercup, five- or six-petal led, but by water margins then they’re likely to be king ups aka marsh marigolds (not marigolds at all but certainly marsh-loving). I’m a plant numpty too, Sue, but where wild flowers are concerned I’m trying hard in my dotage to make up for a citified upbringing!
