One of my favourite ways to take images, given the chance
Here are a few from the archives
This was one of the first I remember taking, at the Rocher de Dabo, in Alsace
This one, taken in Krakow a couple of years ago was a serendipitous moment as the woman walked towards the light beyond the doorway, creating a silhouette
…and looking up the platform one blazing hot afternoon:
And here I shot towards the light, through this Allium…gave it a more sparkly effect

Allium contre jour

Gorgeous. The first one is like a screen set cut out, the second and third have such wonderful light and atmosphere, and you know I can’t resist a sparkling flower. Thanks Sue for all your lovely contributions.
Pleasure! I enjoy these challenges, Jude
You’ll enjoy next month ☺️
Ah, will I? ok Sounds good…
The Krakow one is elegant 🤗💕💕
It is, isn’t it?!
Yes, nice examples, and a trip down Memory Lane for you as well.
Indeed, Dabo two decades ago, Krakow a couple of years ago,and the Bluebell railway last year, each with different company
Something you use a lot in your photos. Ideal for this challenge, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
I do use it quite a lot these days, yes!
Love the allium, this assignment is right up your alley Sue
Thought yo might like the Allium, Pauline 😊

Thanks, Becky, which was the best for you?
