And what a beautiful colour it is! I love the deep purple of those decorative leeks.
A great colour, I agree!
A nice colour to choose, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, I love those flowers – remembered the name yesterday and it’s gone again…
Alliums.
Thanks!
Wonderful colours, Sue
Thanks, Debbie!
LIKE- wordpesss will not allow me to like your post. But the alliums are a fabulous splash of colour and in my garden too! I have some really tall ones that have elongated pointed head- waiting to see what they open up into! I planted them a while ago and can’t remember the variety now. I adore alliums and yours are a gorgeous vibrant purple- what a joy! Have a great weekend 🙂
Thanks, Caryl….I always love to get comments! And you’ve given me the word I had forgotten – allium!
Wonderful colour it is as well Sue 🙂
Indeed!
I had lots last year but I think the very wet winter and my over-enthusiastic digging over has put paid to most of the bulbs. Only two have appeared so far. Like you, I love the splash of purple.
Oh, bad luck
Oh I love that colour, Sue!
Thank you, A C
I like a bit or more of color, too and I like these a lot.
janet
Thanks, Janet!
Me too! Love alliums 🙂 🙂
Yay!!
So do I! And purple is a good colour.
It certainly is!
So pretty
Thanks, Colline!
They take over from the tulips. And so much stronger than those tall stems would suggest. I am very happy that mine have come back this year though they do have untidy leaves which seem to be a resting place for the snails!
Lucky snails!
Not now I have found their hiding place 😲
Aha! Let battle commence…
