Looking out of the kitchen window yesterday morning, I was struck by the shades of green in next door’s garden…young growth on the trees and older trees

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
I’ve always valued the rich variety of green to be found in plant life: just as enjoyable as the flowers!
Indeed it is!
So beautiful 🌳
Thank you!
At this time of year you get the entire spectrum of green. It’s fabulous.
In the right light it can be stunning!
Ever since moving to Norfolk, I am constantly surprised by the different shades of green I see around Beetley. I never knew there were so many. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
There you go! Away from the city pollution
Those early spring green are the best. It’s just lovely, ins’t it.
Gorgeous and calming
Great greens Sue :0
Thanks, Brian
As you know I am often banging on about greens!
And I love my greens!!
Especially cabbage and broccoli 🙂 🙂
Chard, spinach, organic Kale
They’ll do nicely! All go here. T’ai chi on Zoom and a virtual birthday party for Manja in Italy. Mick is out litter picking, bless him. 🤗🇮🇹🚮💕
A Virtual Birthday party for Manja??
Sorry, Sue. Went to make a tuna sarnie for the returning hero 🤣. Not sure if you follow her. She and Flavia in Zagreb are great pals. It’s her 50th today and Flavia set up a surprise party for her. Lovely thing to do 😍🎉💕
I do folllow her!
Well go and say happy birthday! 🤗🎂💕
That is a beautiful window view!
Good, isn’t it!
Nice window across the way too 🙂 🙂
Well, yes
love this time of year when the shades are noticeably different
Yes, indeed!
In one of my favorite poems, Robert Frost wrote “nature’s first green is gold.” I love the green/gold of one of the bushes in your photo.
Thanks very much, Elizabeth…more to come
