Looking out of the kitchen window yesterday morning, I was struck by the shades of green in next door’s garden…young growth on the trees and older trees

  1. I’ve always valued the rich variety of green to be found in plant life: just as enjoyable as the flowers!

  2. At this time of year you get the entire spectrum of green. It’s fabulous.

  3. Ever since moving to Norfolk, I am constantly surprised by the different shades of green I see around Beetley. I never knew there were so many. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. Those early spring green are the best. It’s just lovely, ins’t it.

  5. Great greens Sue :0

  6. As you know I am often banging on about greens!

  7. Amy

That is a beautiful window view!

  8. Nice window across the way too 🙂 🙂

  9. love this time of year when the shades are noticeably different

  10. In one of my favorite poems, Robert Frost wrote “nature’s first green is gold.” I love the green/gold of one of the bushes in your photo.
