What I saw (8) – bursts of bright colour

Bright colour against a vivid blue sky

And a splash of colour in a front garden

  1. Your laburnum is so pretty. I have a poorly tree in my front garden, not much sunlight there and the soil is not so good. Your tree must be happy where it is as so vibrant and full of blossom! The poppies are a fab pop of colour too.

  2. Wonderful. Lilac and Laburnum time are The Best.

  3. Now we’re on the same page, Sue! Gorgeous colours 🙂 🙂 I love laburnum. We had one in our UK garden.

  4. I’m so looking forward to seeing some poppies

  5. Beautiful blue sky

Love these bright, gorgeous colors. Beautifully captured, Sue.

  7. Lovely light in those, Sue. It makes them stand out so well. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  8. You’re right. These colors really are bright, cheery, and ready to usher in summer color.

  9. Looks like a wonderful outing, Sue! Cold here now again…freezing nights.

  10. Oh what brilliant colors 😀

  11. Love the second photo in particular. I saw a picture of a laburnum tree on Twitter with someone youngish wondering what it was! They were so common when I was young, but apparently are less so now because of being poisonous. I did know that then, but also knew not to try eating it!

  12. Laburnum, lilac and rhododendrons are out in full at the moment along the route I take to the supermarket. A shame I can’t stop to take photos, but it’s mostly yellow lines. They do look so vibrant against a blue sky.

  13. What beautiful finds, Sue! Thanks for sharing them.

  14. Welcome vibrant colors! 🙂 Lifted my spirits, Sue.
