One of my friends has been trying to persuade me to get out in the sun, so today I agreed to go for a trundle around the back lanes in my wheelchair with him showing me a good route, social distancing all the while…
I had been concerned about going out, as I have been isolating, but going the route we went there weren’t many people (although on the main road traffic is much more in evidence) and everyone was keeping their distance.
We quickly turned off the main road and it was so lovely to be in the fresh air and sunshine, seeing the flowers and above all hearing the birdsong….
I will show more in the next few days, but here’s the first image
Now I’ve got to pluck up the courage to do the route on my own….I have to say, I did feel more secure having my friend there as an extra pair of eyes.
Beautiful photo!
Thanks!
Good to hear you got out. And even better that you enjoyed the fresh air and good weather. Cold air from the north coming on Sunday, so go again before that hits. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
I’m meeting my friend Mo in the garden this morning, so hopefully she and I will enjoy the early sun then
Such a pretty route!
It was great
Hope there weren’t too many obstacles Sue
Luckily not!
Well done you, what a treat. The first of many I hope.
Well, perhaps
He would have enjoyed your company, Sue. I agree it’s more satisfying to do it yourself, but you probably wouldn’t relax and enjoy the blossom and all that greenery 🙂 🙂
Well, I’m going to have to pluck up the courage to do it on my own
Sooner rather than later 🙂 🙂
Yep
Oh so good that you can get out feeling safe. More delights coming as you see in all its variations
Well, reasonably safe in that there weren’t too many people bout, but I shall still be nervous the first time I do it on my own
Beautiful photo and glad you got some fresh air. There is nothing wrong with having a friend with you even from a far. 😊
Absolutely right, Lisa!
Well done, Sue. A sanity-saver. With you coming at speed people know to give you 2 metres, virus or not, so you’ll be safe on your own. 🙂
Steady on
if only!
😳
hee hee, too right! I am still recovering from the sprint I had to do in Guildford last time we met up for lunch!!
I don’t think that’s quite true!
😉
😄
I am so glad Peter and Mo have been persuading you to go out 🙂
Yes, and so am I…as long as I go out early, before there’s too many out
Sensible xx
Well, I prefer to be!
