This theme chimes with me, as I take Still Life images from home every now and again if I’m not able to get out as much as I would like, and obviously now in Lockdown.
Now and again I do venture out into the communal gardens too.
So here is my take on At Home
Venturing out into the garden the other day, I noticed a couple of different types of tulip that were almost departing, petals beginning to curl:
Later that day, I was having a go at capturing the last gasp of a bouquet of flowers where the lilies were looking rather stunning – I have already posted one (as SquareTops25), but here’s another View
Here is a Still Life, before I remembered to add the cup of coffee
And here is last evening’s sunset

Fabulous tulips and sunset, Sue. Yes, the lilies are stunning! I love how you captured the sunlight and shadows, as always. 🙂
Many thanks, Amy! It’s all about the light!
You have been busy today! Enjoyed them all.
Thanks, Anabel! A much quieter day tomorrow,
Beautiful, Sue! A lady of many talents 🙂 🙂
But of course, Jo!! 😄
Beautiful beautiful. Well done.
Many thanks, John!
The lilies are my favourite, Sue, and I like your still life minus coffee. And a well-ironed table cloth 🙂
That ironing!!!
Yes, it’s all about the light, which you do so well, Sue. Hope you’re having a good weekend.

Many thanks, Janet. Yes, OK weekend, been chatting on video calls….How about you?
Did a bit of cleaning, visited with my parents, did a few things around the house, read.
Sounds busy!
All that was spread out during the day, so it really was a rather lazy day overall. 🙂
Alas, that would flatten me, now…..
😢
Life, eh?
True.
Beautiful, Sue! Love those stunning lilies too. And the colour of them ♥
Yes, gentle fading pink
♥
Beautiful shots, Sue. Love that mellow sunset. 😍
Thank you, Sylvia!
It has been a good year for tulips but we have almost seen the last of them now.
Yes, adieu
Beautiful post! 🙂
Many thanks, Ana!
A perfect theme for you, Sue, and good selections for it too.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete….I have nowhere else to be at present!
I’ve decided I have no ‘eye’ for the interesting photograph, as I looked at my tulips only yesterday (same as yours above) and then ruthlessly took the tops off to make the garden look tidier. I didn’t even think to photograph them when they were in glorious bloom, nor the camellias, nor the rhododendron nor the damson blossom. Maybe I’ll think more ‘photographically’ when the roses are out..
Oh, goodness!!
All lovely Sue, but your wilting beauties tell a sad story ! Hope others are blooming behind them!
Actually not, until my next order!
