A Cup of Coffee and a Book (30)

I  walked into my front room this morning, having set a few items on the table last evening, and noticed a single shaft of weak light bisecting the image…grabbed camera and here it is…

In case you’re asking, two are books I read as a young woman, one was a recent gift and I shall be reading it!

  1. Interesting books, and the photo works well. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Your ability to pick up on the smallest, notable images is so cool! Thanks for pointing out that little shaft of light that made this photo such a good one!

  3. That bit of light flowing down on the table is what makes the photo stand out, literally and figuratively. And then the books, all important lighthouses in our literature.

  4. Great to have seized the moment like this!

  5. Very nice composition. Thank you Sue🙂

  6. I like the one with you in it more, Sue 🙂 🙂

  7. I don’t know that Friedan book. Did it come before her “Feminine Mystique?”
