That image fits well with the isolation theme, Sue.
That was what I was rather thinking, Debbie….Prisoner Cell Block B!!
Yes indeed! Clever planning, or did you just seize the moment?
As with many, Carpe Diem! I see the light, move a few things about, grab the camera!!
Clever combination
Thank you, Pauline! When I saw the thin shafts of light, I knew I had my shot!
You have an eye for the unusual Sue, well done
Thanks!
That is a perfect alignment of light and image, Sue. First class!
Best wishes, Pete.
Cheers, Pete!
That really is beautiful Sue – and tells the story without a word said.
Pleased you think so, Tina
Absolutely stunning. Yes, it does give a feeling of isolation, but it also gives a feeling of peace. On the technical side, interesting how beam starts exactly on the edge of the page.
Thanks, Michael
You’re getting more and more creative. Open books create a lot of possibilities. Did book or light-slivers come first?
(Can you please name your book when the title isn’t visible???)
Light slivers….and this book is Abandoned Planet, by Andre Govia, a birthday present from a friend who knows my love of decay !!
Such a great choice
PS You really should iron your table cloths though 😉
Sauce!
hee hee couldn’t resist it after yesterday’s chat!
I realised that!!
I was thinking exactly the same thing!!
Barefaced cheek!
Many thanks, Becky!
Wonderfully sombre! And who irons table covers? You’re only going to spill that sauce on them 🙂 🙂
Quite right, Jo!
Here the coffee cup seems, for the first time, superfluous in the image. I am in awe of the way the light forms bars over the prison bars in the photo.
Yes, the coffee cup doesn’t seem in tune here….but I’m pleased you like the play of light, Elizabeth!
