That’s very pretty.
Ornate, indeed, and not mine so I haven’t got to clean it!!
Phew. I need to clean our small collection of silver. Not yet though. I have That Other job to do.
I did my first small job yesterday. Onto the next, and I do have some silver to be cleaned…..not yet
No wonder you have such good claret in the cupboard, this decanter deserves nothing but the best!
oh just read your reply to Margaret. It isn’t yours!
Nope! I just use a glass decanter
Contents need no extras!
😄😄😄🍷
Hahaha!
You’re organised and early today! Obviously didn’t have a late night with the port, Sue 🙂 🙂
Hahaha!
And I do like the decanter 🤗💕
Ta! I’ll tell my mate
Ah, yes, the one that needs a clean 😊
I’ll tell my friend!
I dare you 😜
I have, actually, already told him….
😂
The perfect companion for a bushwalk!!! I love it
You would take a claret jug on a bush walk, Meg???
Why not? I’ve taken eggbeater, milk jug, paintbrushes, umbrella-on-a-sunny-day, and a small beautifully wrapped parcel. My version of still life!

Well, there’s another thing I never knew!!
I recently saw on Antiques Roadshow that silver-topped claret jugs are worth considerably more than those without such adornments. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, I saw that one!
Very ornate indeed. 😍
Yep!
I am afraid it immediately sent me back to Saturdays having to polish silver, just as ornate as this, before dinner parties. I vowed to never use it when I grew up!
Oh dear!
