  11. Oh. I got carried away by the thought of schoolboy Pete reading de Beauvoir. As for your photo. Another lovely mix of colour, shadow, embroidery and specs. Now to interweave spec-shadows.

  14. I heard grand things about this book, was looking forward to it, started it – and then it went on. And on. And on. All the time in the same rhythm. And on. And on. And I finished it only out of pure spite. Not a fan.
