I really like the shadows linking the blue of the cup and the book.
Yes, the light was great that day!
I am so envious of your collection of mugs!
Yes, that’s actually an Espresso cup given to me by a good friend to mark the turning of the century! The thing about some of these images is that you have no idea of the size of the coffee cup or book….the two in this image are quite diminutive!
One of my favourites so far, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks! Pete!
Great image.
Many thanks, Goff!
Pleasure. Have a great day.
And you!
Cheers.
I like the quiet drama in this one, Sue. Great light and angle.
Yes, I had been thinking the same about size when I reviewed my coffee shots last night. Espresso cup versus giant mug is not clear without some other context.
Quiet drama….I like it!
Lighting just right on this one Sue 🙂
Teehee, you picky person!
That’s me 😀
Great use of the deep shadows.
Thanks, Jude!
One of the best in the series, I think. But, you know how I feel about subjects against black backgrounds. Keep them coming. You should turn these into a book.
I may well do!
It would lend a new meaning to the term “coffee table book.”
Absolutely!!
I like the colours and contrast 🙂 🙂 Got to go and cook. Back in a bit!
Thanks, Jo!
Very pretty, Sue. All the elements are just right and work together perfectly.

Thank you, Janet!
What do you do for shadows on a non-sunny day?? You use them so well.
On a non-sunny day I think I shall sulk!! No, I’m not a sulker, Meg
Fabulous Sue
Pleased you like it, Becky!
