Having a reminisce about places visited, and here’s one of the Stork’s nests that I saw in Transylvania over a decade ago. It was fantastic to see those babies in the nest!

More little things in life
oh I love this, you know what I am like about storks! It is a sight I’ve yet to see as the youngsters have always fledged by the time we return to Portugal
It was a fabulous sight!
Oh how wonderful. I love storks but have never seen babies in the nest.
I was hopping and skipping with delight once I got the zoom lens to my eye and could see those little residents properly!
So lucky to see the babies! I saw storks nesting in Marrakesh old town. The only time I have seen that.
Best wishes, Pete.
I was very fortunate
Well caught, Sue. I’ve never spotted the babies in stork nests either.
I was very fortunate to spot them
and carrying the right lens 🙂
Ah, yes, in my Nikon days, a 70-200VR, which was a lovely lens
Oh, that’s wonderful!
It was!!
Ah, so lucky to see the babies!
It certainly was!
Ha! You’ve spotted my babies 🙂 🙂 Well, not mine, exactly… Lovely shot, Sue!
Great, isn’t it!
that’s an impressive nest.
Quite a construction!
A great capture Sue … those little babies all tucked down in that huge nest with Mum keeping watch … a rather special moment 🙂
It was, Poppy!
Never got to see storks. I did get to watch eagles hatch courtesy of a web cam. Amazing. I am glad that you were able to see these in person.
It was one of many highlights of that holiday!
