I have been attempting with some of these Still Lifes to bring things in that might bear some relationship to the chosen book, eg the slate from Abergynolwyn (Day 4), and here some little European coffee cups and a sprig of Mimosa…

What a lovely idea!
Thank you, Sheree!
Where did you find that mimosa? It was all over in springtime France, but I’ve never seen it here.
That is a false sprig of Mimosa, from a restaurant in Lucca about 7 years ago!!
*sigh*. Cheating, eh?
Needs must, dear girl
We have some 🤗💕
Lucky you!
Another interesting book, and where did you get the mimosa from?

Shucks!
Sorry to disappoint, Jude!
even cleverer this morning . . . does the mimosa mean you managed to escape outside for a while?
Glad you think it’s clever, Becky. Nope, haven’t been outside, not chancing it. The mimosa? a false sprig of Mimosa, from a restaurant in Lucca about 7 years ago!!
lol!! Well that’s a great false sprig . . . and understand about not chancing it xxx
I do try to keep a few props for Still Lifes….even lugged a heavy old Singer sewing machine from my old house for that purpose!
I presume that is not in the railway trunk though!
Absolutely not, way too heavy!
I love it, you resourceful woman 😘💕
Clever little socks, aren’t I?!!
Occasionally 🙂 🙂 (can’t have it going to your head)
😄😄😄😄😂
Really liking these, Sue. Another good one. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Tomorrow’s is so-so, but Thursday’s works well
Won’t it be wonderful to again think of Spain and dancing instead of Spain and the pandemic.
Ah, can’t wait for the day…
very nice Sue. You have a real eye for still lives, and this is a book that I love.
I’m planning to join you with a coffee shot tomorrow – it’s a great project idea 🙂
Glad you like my Still Life images, and look forward to seeing one from you!
