To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Ah. I have some like that. Only mine are in the compost heap.
Ah….OK!!
Such nice colours in decay. Good to see your ‘speciality’ back, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, I might revisit some older posts
I like them with the white background, the petals look translucent.
Yes, that trick has worked for me a good few times! Thanks, Jude
Interesting to see images of not so perfect flowers. Nicely done!
Many thanks, glad you like these!
I know the feeling!
😄😄😄
I should be getting ready to plant mine 🙂
Very good, I shall look forward to the photographs later in the year 😊
Goodbye, farewell, I’m leaving you, goodbye… recognise it, Sue? 🙂 🙂
So long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen goodbye…
Ha! I was close 🙂 🙂
And you do know where it’s from, then???ðŸ¤
Something Disney? 🙂 🙂
Sound of flippin’ Music, dear… (but you know that?)
I never saw that movie, but I knew it was something like that 😦 😦
You must be the only person alive who’s never seen it!!!
Well, I’ve seen bits of it on telly but not hung about for the grand finale 🙂 🙂 Sorry!
Well, it’s very kitsch, I saw it as a young teenager, and wouldn’t be watching it now….but there’s apparently a huge fan base who flock to Salzburg and other places to soak up nostalgia for the film – get a life, people, I think!!
They won’t be flocking anywhere right now 😔😔
Well, that’s true
I much prefer the first one. The second just looks like, well, dying flowers. The first has an elegance about it.

Glad you said that, Janet, that’s exactly what I thought….
Delicate decay.
Thanks, Anabel. The image against the white background works best, would you agree?
I do, definitely.
😊😊
Yes, I like the white background, too. Kind of feeling like that these days.
Oh dear…
Not that bad. Been through a lot with my husband whose vision is failing. But things are definitely looking up for both of us as they have ruled out cancer of the eyes. Live is good. I am happy with shelter in place. Time to write and blog.
Good to hear life is good for you now…time to write and blog, indeed to stay connected. Who knows, I might dabble with poetry again….
wow you do keep them a long time!
All in the interests of art, Becky!
That white background really brings them to life again. 😃
As Janet, I think, said…it has an elegance about it!!
Sometimes I find the end of flowers’ lifespan to be more beautiful than the peak of their blooming. These are just lovely.
Many thanks, Otto – pleased you enjoyed these!
