More little things in life
Some flowers – roses and tulips spring to mind – die in some style. Daffodils usually less so. But these look suitably ethereal – nice image!
Tulips are the best, I’ve had some great images…but here’s some more faded daffodils: https://suejudd.com/2016/04/16/six-word-saturday-truly-a-ghost-of-golden-daffodils/
OK, I’ve just posted a few gracefully decaying tulips for your delectation
And I’ve just seen them. Thanks.
So I see!
Waiting for the tulips now!
Oh, drat,I haven’t bought any recently….I’ll do a selection from the archives
I don’t think daffs die very gracefully, they just shrivel up and go brown. I have just been outside to cut off the heads of my early flowering ones which were beginning to seed, so that the energy goes back into the bulb. Fortunately I have more late flowering ones providing cheer still 🙂
Very good
Poor souls! Have you strangled them, Sue? 🙂 🙂
